The Quantock Beast

The Beast is taking a well earned break in 2026. Hopefully back after that.

 

Race Details

The race starts in the beautiful setting of The National Trust’s Fyne Court estate. It is approximately 9.8km with over 250m elevation gain. The route takes in some stunning Quantock Hills scenery, including woodland, fields, track and quiet country roads. It is great fun, with plenty of mud, trails and hills.

Be prepared – the Beast race is one of the toughest in the Somerset Series.

The Beast was set loose in 1996, as a founding part of the Somerset Series when there were only 6 events.
