The Quantock Beast will be run on Sunday 8 July 2012 at 11am so put the date in your diaries.  We will need as many club memebers as possible to marshall.

Congratulations to everyone who successfully secured a place at the London Marathon for 2012 - we have 8 club members due to take part.

Sunday 3 July 2011 saw another successful running of the Quantock Beast race.  Well done to Tim Hawkins from Yeovil Town Road Running Club who was first across the line and Jenny Moore from Wells City Harriers who was first lady.  Congratulations to all the runners who completed the course on what was a very hot day.  Go to the Quantock Beast tab for all the results.  A big thank you to all the Quantock Harriers that gave up their time to organise and marshall the race and to those who donated the spot prizes; Darren Nunn for the powerade and Sarah Werner for the sports massages.

3/3/2011 - We will no longer be meeting at Morrison's Car Park the new meeting location is the YMCA in Friarn Avenue, Bridgwater, TA6 3RF. We are starting to meet at the YMCA from Tuesday 8th March.

Due to the fantastic increase in members we felt that a more official location was more appropriate, where we don't get in the way of the local shoppers!!
The YMCA also gives us more facilities: An indoor waiting area, Toilets, lockers, showers, vending machines and a gym. Lockers require a £1 deposit and the showers are £1.02. The meeting area is just behind the reception desk.
